Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Utilize all web methods (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE, etc.) for testing.
- Validate feedback, response times, and error codes.
- Validate XML and JSON bodies using JSON parsers.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Provide weekly status reports and test phase completion reports.
- Obtain UAT sign-off and test phase completion.
- Maintain quality gates to ensure high standards.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in IT with a focus on integration and SOA testing.
- Proven experience implementing integration solutions on the Azure platform
- Proficient in various types of testing, including Integration Testing, End-to-End (E2E) Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Data Validation Testing.
- Understanding of SaaS-based applications and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.
- Familiarity with the retail domain is preferred.
- Extensive experience with API, web services, and microservices component-level testing.
- Skilled in service virtualization and API automation testing
- Expertise in industry-standard testing tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, and WireMock.
- Proficient in test management tools like ALM, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experienced in defect management.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
