Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring the candidate to work onsite for 2-3 days a week in Warsaw. As a Database Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining our databases on a large scale.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain relational databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Create and maintain stored procedures to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot database-related issues and optimize performance
- Implement and maintain data security measures and ensure data integrity
- Regularly backup and recover data to prevent loss
Required qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of proven work experience as a Database Engineer or similar role
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
- Proficiency in MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases
- Deep understanding of relational database design principles and SQL
- Experience working with agile lifecycle management tools such as JIRA
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security practices
- Demonstrated track record of designing, building, and optimizing databases on a large scale
