Job Description
As a Senior Java Backend Developer for our client, a global leader in financial technology, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of our client's cutting-edge software products. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
- Spearhead the development and evolution of complex software products leveraging Java/J2EE and cutting-edge technologies
- Apply advanced design patterns effectively to optimize code efficiency and maintainability
- Implement and manage automated CI/CD pipelines, streamlining the software deployment and distribution lifecycle
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to integrate third-party libraries and APIs seamlessly
- Utilize industry-standard CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Stash to optimize the development workflow
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software product development
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SOA, Spring, Hibernate, and related technologies
- Experience with Docker containers and CI/CD tools
- Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work with distributed global teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
