Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Hadoop Developer who is passionate about data, enjoys tackling complex challenges, and is eager to work with cutting-edge technologies
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage Hadoop applications and systems
- Integrate and work with Kafka for real-time data processing
- Utilize Containers, Kubernetes, and Docker for application deployment and orchestration
- Maintain and optimize Linux/UNIX based systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance production systems
- Perform thorough analysis of thread dumps, heap dumps, and garbage collection logs to ensure JVM performance
- Support and enhance NoSQL and relational databases, ensuring optimal performance
- Write and optimize complex database queries
- Provide production support and manage incident, change, and problem management processes using Service Now
Required qualifications
Must have Skills:
- Extensive experience with Hadoop and Kafka
Nice to have Skills:
- Proficiency with Containers, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Strong knowledge of Linux and UNIX systems
- Experience with Hazelcast
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Expertise in Java, J2EE, and scripting technologies
- Ability to perform detailed JVM analysis and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Hadoop development and big data technologies
- At least 2 years' experience in production support within a distributed team environment
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
