Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Expert to join our client's team and take on the responsibility of developing BI solutions for the entire company. While prior experience with Qlik is preferred, we are open to candidates with strong skills in any other BI platform who are eager to learn and grow in the Qlik environment.
What awaits you
Responsibility for the development of the Qlik BI solution for the entire company. User requirements management, solution design and implementation. The main goal is to ensure effective data analysis and the provision of relevant information and visualizations to support decision-making.
1. Analysis of needs and requirements:
Collaborate with various departments and managers to understand BI needs.
Independent analysis of requirements and proposal of solutions
Identification of key KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and analysis of data requirements for effective company management.
2. Development of BI solutions in Qlik:
Independent implementation of Qlik from a methodological and technical point of view
Creation of data models, ETL procedures, SQL selections, reports, analyses, what-if models, dashboards, mashups
Design, creation and maintenance of BI dashboards, reports and visualizations in the Qlik tool.
Creation of data models for analysis and reporting.
3. Performance optimization and training:
Monitoring the performance of BI solutions and ensuring optimizations for fast access to data.
Training users and the team on how to effectively use the Qlik BI tool.
Advice on setting up reports and analyses, communication with internal clients
4. Updates and Innovations:
Monitoring of new technologies and trends in the field of BI and proposals for innovations and updates of BI solutions.
5. Development of a BI strategy:
Assistance in the formulation and implementation of a long-term BI strategy for decision support.
Required qualifications
Education in the field of technical/economic direction
Knowledge of SQL databases and T-SQL language. Programming experience in other languages is an advantage.
Experience with BI tools (Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.), controlling/reporting.
At least basic knowledge of MS Analysis Services and Reporting Services
Mastery of MS Office tools
Czech & English languages
