Job Description
The goal of the program is to gather outdated software applications and connect all countries within the client's system. This system serves as a unified global platform to streamline financial processes, project portfolio management (PPM), and integrated systems. The core of the system consists of the SAP ECC platform and Clarizen, which are integrated with various applications to manage end-to-end business operations.
The program aims to establish standardized best practices and fulfill project requirements across different countries. The overall objective is to implement this system in 33 countries (including those in APAC, MENA, CEE, the Nordics, and Italy).
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the implementation of the SAP ECC solution to meet specific business needs (such as scoping, designing, localizing, testing, going live, and transitioning to application management)
- Providing the necessary level of expertise in SAP and functional knowledge related to financial processes
Required qualifications
- Over a decade of SAP consultancy experience involving intricate and diverse projects, encompassing the entire process from designing and building core templates to validation, roll-out, and ongoing support in the SAP-FI domain
- A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in various aspects of FI, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), General Ledger (GL), and Taxation
- Preference for certification and practical experience in the SAP ECC Finance module
- Extensive understanding of both functional (such as processes and available functionalities) and technical aspects (including customization, environment setup, transport orders) of SAP, along with proficiency across different project stages like execution, deployment, and testing, coupled with adept project management skills such as planning, follow-up, teamwork, and coordination with multiple teams
- Proficiency in SAP FICO module with a high level of expertise.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication to suit the audience
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate as a team player and establish networks with colleagues and external partners
- Exposure to SAP ECC FSCM processes like credit management, dispute management, and collections management is preferred
- Practical experience in the cash application process within accounts receivables is required
