Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 support for Java applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug Java applications and JVM issues.
- Manage and maintain Unix/Linux servers.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Assist in deploying and configuring Java applications.
- Document technical procedures and support processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on issue resolution and system status.
Required qualifications
Requirements:
- Must Have: Experience as a Java Application Production Support Engineer.
- Strong experience in Unix and SQL with good knowledge of Unix/Linux servers.
- Experience in managing Java applications and understanding JVMs.
- Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience in large server environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting in Unix/Linux.
- Experience with performance tuning of Java applications.
