Job Description
Algoteque is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to exciting projects for our clients. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our data infrastructure and processes.
Responsibilities
ETL Processes: Setting up and managing ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow.
Data Cleaning: Automating data cleaning processes to maintain high-quality datasets.
Data Integration: Integrating data from various sources to provide comprehensive insights.
Collaboration: Working closely with data scientists, analysts, and other team members to support their data needs.
Required qualifications
Data Engineering Tasks: Proven experience in setting up ETL processes, automated data cleaning, and data integration.
AWS Ecosystem: Familiarity with AWS data tools such as S3, Athena, Glue, and other related services.
Programming Languages: Proficiency in Scala and Python.
Big Data Tools: Experience with Apache Spark.
Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
