Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive HSE Officer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees by implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HSE regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Ensure policies are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Communicate policies to all employees and ensure understanding and adherence.
Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses in the workplace.
Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of control measures and update as necessary.
Incident Investigation and Reporting:
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Compile detailed reports on investigations and recommend corrective actions.
Track and analyze incident trends to prevent future occurrences.
Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
Promote awareness campaigns on health, safety, and environmental issues.
Conduct drills and simulations to prepare for emergencies.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HSE Officer or similar role.
