We are partnering with one of the leading System Provider in Dubai. We are looking for a Fire, Life and Safety (FLS) Expert.
Job Description
Responsible for carrying out all the activities under the contract necessary to fulfil the overall performance, legal, and contractual requirements related to the FLS Expert position. A general description of the FLS Expert main activities under the contract is as follows:
1. Production review and approvals with Engineer and Employer of the following network integration level (IL) documentation, in line with the FLS contractual requirements:
I. FLS design documentation, comprising:
• Fire Engineering Plan (FEP)
• Fire and Life Safety Strategy FLSS
• Fire Risk Assessment FRA
• Fire Engineering Reports FER
• Any additional FLS documentation, as required by the Engineer
II. S04 Emergency Management Plan (EMP), using as a basis the most recent version of the S02/S01 EMP at the date commencement of preparation of the document, as agreed with the Engineer / Employer or Operator.
2. Implement the activities outlined in the FEP and follow the schedule of consents and approvals to satisfy the contractual requirements for the delivery of the technical documents and approvals' process.
3. Interface with the other Contractors' FLS Experts to ensure a consistent network integration approach of their corresponding FLS systems inputs, outputs, and general functionality, as well as interfaces with non-FLS related equipment, as described in the technical specification.
4. Coordinate with other Contractors' responsible for submitting to Civil Defence fire policy plans
5. Participate in the required ISA's audits of FLS deliverables.
6. Assist the Requirements Manager to provide evidence of compliance of the FLS deliverables, designs, and other related activities to verify conformance with the S04 contractual requirements.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of experience in the field of Fire Life & Safety
Candidate need to have experience with UAE Regulations
Prior experience in Railway is a plus
