For one of our clients located near Antwerp, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer.
Job Description
The ‘SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER' is responsible for the skilled execution of all electrical engineering
activities at the client Process Engineering :
• Receives his/her duties through the Director ME & EE. These duties include working out new
electrical and pneumatic blocks, and working out improvements to existing electrical and
pneumatic blocks or components.
• Manages the design of electrical and pneumatic components and circuits, continuously
develops his/her knowledge regarding electrical and pneumatic components, and optimises
his/her knowledge regarding computer drawing packages for electricity and pneumatics.
• Manages the execution and quality of his/her engineering tasks and reports status and timing
to the Director ME & EE.
• Discusses concrete electrical engineering questions with the PROJECT MANAGER.
• Discusses solutions for concrete designs and set-ups in teamwork with production and
suppliers.
• Can manage an engineering project team
• Tracks hours and timing of a project
• Consults with PM if necessary
• Is the first point of contact for discipline-related customer questions
• Travels to customers when necessary
• Actively contributes to achieving the environmental objectives as determined by the
management (e.g. sorting waste, saving energy, reducing paper consumption, etc.)
• Undertakes to follow the policy on HSE Responsibilities.
• Follows the quality policy with the objective of managing and improving the quality of products
and services
• Handles health and safety consciously for himself and employees, applies the Client Safety Core
Rules and reports incidents to the prevention department
• Actively participates in achieving the environmental objectives as set by the management (e.g.
sorting of waste, energy saving, reduction of paper consumption, etc.) Client Environmental
Core Rules and is committed to sustainability - ESG (Environmental Social and Governance)
• The SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER represents the company with his/her expertise. Therefore,
a competent, convincing and customer-oriented approach is expected for the performance of
this position.
• Analytical attitude, accuracy, eagerness to learn and team spirit are important requirements
for this position
Required qualifications
• You hold a Master in Electromechanical Engineer or equivalent through experience.
• You have an understanding of machine construction and operation.
• You are fluent in both languages : English & Dutch
• Knowledge of SAP, MS Office applications, ......
• Knowledge of drawing packages Eplan / Autocad.
• You are a team player
