Job Description
• Manage the buying process including sourcing planning, quotation process, negotiate
contracts with specified target pricing, cost and delivery targets.
• Improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make
business savings, utilising negotiation & procurement best practice tools and methods.
• Ensure Professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
• Understanding & analyzing of technical drawings when needed.
• Expediting purchase orders to support fulfilment of production schedules and spare parts
orders
• Align expectations with Mechanical Engineering, Project management and support
Engineering / Production Team on new ideas & new developments
• Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures
Required qualifications
• You hold a bachelor´s degree. Preferably in Engineering (Electromechanics etc.)
• A minimum of 3 years of professional and relevant experience. -> ideally a junior/medior
consultant
• A team player with a passion for techno-commercial affiliation
• Customer focus with an accurate & analytical approach.
• High value of quality and on time delivery commitment.
• Fluent in English (Dutch & French are an advantage). -> At least a basic understanding of
Dutch is desired
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Compliance, Respect & Integrity are key
• Knowledge of ERP (AS400) or SAP is an added advantage.
