Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented RAM and Safety Manager to oversee the RAM (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability) and Safety processes for our project. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and RAM methodologies, as well as the effective management of documentation in alignment with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Safety Management Plan, ensuring alignment with project goals and compliance with safety regulations.
Attend and actively participate in weekly Safety meetings to address project safety concerns and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
Manage the preparation and refinement of various safety and RAM documents, including but not limited to:
Interim and Final Design Hazard Analysis Reports
Safety Review Reports (Interim and Final)
Hazard Log
Safety Target Demonstration and Quantitative Risk Analysis Report
Safety Requirements Specification
Safety Critical Items List (SCIL)
Preliminary and Detailed Design Safety Cases
Test Readiness Safety Case (TRSC)
Engineering Safety Case (ESC)
Safety Verification & Validation Report
Fire and Life Safety Strategy
Fire Engineering Reports
RAM Demonstration Plan (RDP)
FMECA Report
RAM Analysis & Prediction Report
RAM Demonstration Report
Obsolescence Management Plan
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive risk assessments and safety strategies are implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and report on the status of RAM and Safety documentation and processes to project leadership.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in RAM and Safety management within a project environment.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and RAM methodologies.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and lead safety initiatives.
Proficiency in using project management and documentation tools.
