Job Description
We are looking for a talented Power BI Developer with extensive experience in data visualization, DAX functions, and data modeling. If you are passionate about transforming data into valuable business insights through dynamic reports and dashboards, this opportunity is for you. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy interactive data solutions, leveraging Power BI and related tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Leverage DAX functions to create complex calculations and optimize data for reporting.
- Build and manage data models (Star Schema, Fact/Dimension) to ensure efficient data structures.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support data transformation and reporting needs.
- Work with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) for creating and delivering reports.
- Perform data analysis and generate actionable insights that align with business goals.
- Use Power Query for data transformation, including filtering, merging, and table manipulation.
- Maintain Power BI Gateways for real-time data connectivity and ensure up-to-date reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
Required qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Power BI, with experience in report development and semantic layer creation.
- Expertise in DAX functions and SQL for building advanced data calculations and querying.
- Experience with data models, particularly Star Schema (Fact/Dimension).
- Familiarity with SSRS and integrating it with Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Proficiency in Power Query for transforming and manipulating data.
- Understanding of DDL and DML for managing data in transactional systems.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum for project management and delivery.
- Experience in establishing data relationships and building tabular and multidimensional models.
