Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration with the Business Product Owner:
Act as the primary point of contact between the mission team and the Business Product Owner, ensuring clear communication of business goals and priorities.
Translate high-level business objectives into detailed user stories and deliverables that the development team can implement effectively.
Backlog Refinement and Prioritization:
Assist the Product Owner in refining the product backlog to align with both current and future business needs.
Write comprehensive test cases and test scenarios to ensure thorough validation of product features.
Regularly prioritize and update backlog items based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business objectives.
Acceptance of Outputs:
Review and assess completed work against predefined acceptance criteria and the agreed-upon definition of done.
Ensure that product increments delivered at the end of each sprint meet quality standards and align with overall business objectives.
Discovery:
Collaborate with the Business Product Owner and stakeholders to define and scope potential new features, opportunities, and improvements for upcoming cycles.
Lead discovery workshops with key stakeholders, UX designers, or BI experts to gather insights on user feedback, anticipated features, and changing business requirements.
Document findings and prepare the backlog for the next cycle by translating insights into epics, user stories, and potential technical requirements.
Continuously engage with both business and technical teams to validate feasibility and ensure that the discovery process aligns with the product roadmap and technical capabilities.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience similar role in product management.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and backlog management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Familiarity with user story creation, acceptance criteria, and testing processes.
