Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Solution Architect to guide and manage two key healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, cloud infrastructure on AWS, and hands-on proficiency with multiple programming languages, including Golang, Node.js, and Java. This role demands strong technical acumen and leadership skills to steer development teams and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical oversight for the maintenance and support of a large-scale system.
- Lead and support operations involving NoSQL databases, particularly MarkLogic.
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure and coordinate DevOps efforts, including cross-region and cross-account migration.
- Act as the primary communication liaison with stakeholders, ensuring clear updates and effective issue management.
- Oversee L2 support, ensuring prompt incident resolution and escalation as needed.
- Prepare and strategize for upcoming migration processes, collaborating with stakeholders for seamless transitions.
- Lead a development team in building a microservices, event-driven system with Node.js (TypeScript), Golang, Python, and Airflow.
- Ensure AWS infrastructure meets standards for scalability, security, and performance.
- Manage AWS DocumentDB for efficient data storage solutions.
- Architect event-driven workflows using AWS Managed Kafka (MSK).
- Mentor development teams and maintain best practices for on-time delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure readiness for production deployment.
Required qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a solution architect focusing on microservices and cloud solutions.
- Expertise in technology evaluation, architectural documentation, and risk management.
- Proficiency with AWS and Terraform for IaC.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, including MarkLogic and AWS DocumentDB.
- Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures with Kafka.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing development teams and complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in the healthcare industry, with familiarity in healthcare data standards.
- Track record of leading projects to production in complex environments.
