Job Description
In this position, we are seeking for a hands-on Consultant Software QA leader with experience in development, QA, and/or release management within an industrial sector. You will lead and implement QA for our products, ensuring high software quality through automated testing and coordinated releases. This role involves close collaboration with development teams and managing a distributed QA team, ensuring seamless software and hardware integration.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- QA Leadership & Agile Practices: Lead quality assurance activities with a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies, ensuring streamlined CI/CD pipelines. Utilize Azure DevOps effectively for issue tracking and test case management.
- Test Automation & HIL Setup: Drive the implementation of automated end-to-end testing to enhance efficiency. Manage the configuration and operation of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test systems.
- Software Release Management: Coordinate the entire software release lifecycle, ensuring alignment across diverse subsystems (e.g., HMI and Automation Software). Maintain and oversee a unified release schedule.
- Build Pipeline & Environment Reliability: Partner with DevOps to sustain stable and scalable development environments. Address and resolve issues within automated build and test pipelines to ensure smooth operations.
-Team Leadership & Global Collaboration: Mentor and support an offshore QA team, promoting effective cross-regional collaboration and communication.

Required qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in QA or Agile are a plus.
Experience :
Experience within an industrial context is mandatory
8+ years in Software QA, including 2-4 years in leadership.
Proven track record in automated end-to-end testing
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI pipelines, and Agile processes.
Technical Skills :
Expertise in QA methodologies
Experience with C# / Java with Selenium is a big plus
Experience in API/backend automation testing.
Skilled in hardware-software integration and performance testing is a nice-to-have
