Job Description
• Problem Analysis: As a project manager, you will analyze the client's question based on RFOs or other input from the client.
• Provide detailed solution: You define a solution that includes a clear approach and cost estimate.
• Internal team composition: Within our organization, you will assemble teams that are jointly responsible for realizing projects. A project engineer is typically supported in performing substantive engineering tasks. Construction work also requires interaction and briefing towards the construction department.
• Material ordering: This includes ordering materials needed to accomplish the project from the project management software.
• Communications: You will be responsible for delivering P&IDs, 3Ds and project planning to clients.
• Project follow-up: As project manager, you are responsible for following up on projects and holding follow-up meetings with the client. During these meetings, you will discuss costs, both in terms of hours and materials, during the execution of the project.
• Listing: Establish a snag item list and have outstanding items completed.
• Cost tracking: You will follow up on invoicing in line with project progress and related payments.
• Quote evaluation: At the end of the installation phase, the project manager takes care of the delivery of the documentation regarding the projects. You make sure that you personally check these different
phases and have them signed off with the customer after documenting them. Depending on the project, the following phases are distinguished: some text
o Installation qualification (IQ): is everything installed as planned, I/O testing etc.
o Operational qualification(OQ): functional testing, water testing
o Performance qualification (PQ): is the plant working at the provided target parameters (flows, pressures, losses, etc.)?
• Reporting and Calculation: Where necessary, the project manager prepares and reports post-calculation to the client.
• Final evaluation: You discuss with the team the "lessons learned" from the project.
Required qualifications
You already have several competencies in your backpack. For example, you have an analytical mind, can work independently and have strong leadership and communication skills. You are also proactive and always
have a positive attitude.
In addition to the right soft-skills, you have already obtained a degree and relevant work experience over the years:
• Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent
• Experience as a project manager within the field of industrial processes
• Relevant work experience with liquid process equipment (pumps/ valves/ instrumentation)
