Job Description
As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and using computer simulations to analyze and design complex high-tech products and systems with the use of the most advanced simulations softwares to provide a tailored solution for the clients.
The key responsibilities include:
- Conducting simulation experiments to ensure the performance, durability and safety of high-tech products
- Optimizing the design through finite element analysis.
- Analysing simulation results to identify and resolve design issues
- Working with engineers and other stakeholders to improve product designs
- Providing the necessary calculations and documentation along with your design
- Creating reports that document the simulation setup, results, and conclusions
- Validating the accuracy of the model by comparing simulation results with real-world test data or analytical solutions
- Identifying areas of weakness, excessive stress, or potential failure points
- Being involved in material characterization by conducting physical tests to obtain accurate material properties for the models.
Required qualifications
- You have a master's degree in mechanical, electromechanical or other relevant experiences for model simulation
- You have a particular interest in simulation through various programming languages such as python, matlab or Ansys LS DYNA
- You are comfortable using design software such as creo, autocad, solidworks, etc.
- You are fluent in English and knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- You have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- You are able to work independently and as part of a team
