Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Python and Django (version 4.x).
- Build and customize Django CMS (version 3.x) modules to enable dynamic website creation and content management.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support platform functionality.
- Integrate AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) for hosting, data storage.
- Create and maintain Dockerfiles and use Docker Compose for local development and deployment.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the platform.
- Write unit and integration tests to maintain high code quality.
Required qualifications
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Python Developer, with 5+ years in backend development.
- Expertise in Python 3.x, with a deep understanding of its features and best practices.
- Strong hands-on experience with Django (version 4.x) and Django CMS (version 3.x) for web development.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, including the creation of optimized images and multi-container setups.
- Experience with basic AWS services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Experience with ElasticSearch for fast search text engine.
- Experience with RabbitMQ for queuing systems.
- Proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and query optimization techniques.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-tenant applications or SaaS platforms.
- Knowledge of advanced AWS services, including Lambda, SNS, or CloudFront.
- Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Exposure to frontend technologies like React.
