Job Description
Algoteque is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise container platform built on Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes. This role is pivotal in delivering reliable, scalable, and secure container infrastructure solutions in a dynamic enterprise environment.
Location: Hybrid (1 day/week in the office)
Office locations: Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Pardubice – Czech Republic
🚀 Key Responsibilities
Architect and deploy production-grade OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.
Manage and optimize the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
Implement Red Hat best practices for security and compliance.
Collaborate with development teams on containerization strategies.
Troubleshoot complex platform and application issues.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the team.
Required qualifications
🚀 Core Skills
Deep understanding of OpenShift/Kubernetes architecture.
Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Expertise with container technologies (Podman, CRI-O).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
Experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash.

CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD)

OpenShift GitOps and Pipelines
🚀 Required Experience
5+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift in production.
Red Hat certifications (RHCE, CKA, CKAD) are a plus.
Experience with enterprise-grade high-availability solutions.
Strong background in Linux system administration.
Czech language proficiency preferred
Excellent communication skills in English
