Job Description
🚀 We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure built on VMware NSX-T. This role is pivotal in delivering secure, scalable, and highly available software-defined networking solutions in a dynamic enterprise environment.
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office)
Office locations: Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Pardubice – Czech Republic
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement NSX-T architectures and solutions
- Manage and optimize software-defined networking infrastructure
- Configure and maintain network security policies and micro-segmentation
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Troubleshoot complex networking and security issues
- Create and maintain documentation and standard procedures
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the team
Required qualifications
🚀 Core Skills
- Deep understanding of NSX-T architecture and components
- Strong networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalling)
- Experience with VMware vSphere environments
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN technologies
- Understanding of load balancing concepts and solutions
🚀 Additional Technologies
- VMware vSphere 7.x/8.x
- VMware vRealize Suite
- Layer 2-7 networking concepts
- Network automation and scripting
- Public cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
🚀 Required Experience
5+ years in enterprise networking
3+ years of hands-on experience with NSX-T
VMware certifications (VCP-NV, VCIX-NV) are a plus
Experience with enterprise-grade network security
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Czech language proficiency preferred
Excellent communication skills in English
