Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team and design and launch applications and features utilized in customer-oriented SaaS solutions for managing supply chain risks. If you take pleasure in solving problems, working together with others, diagnosing issues, and providing high-quality solutions, this position is a great fit for you!
Key responsibilities:
- Own software features from design to deployment, delivering high-quality solutions
- Communicate effectively with the engineering team and occasionally with other departments like customer success, implementation, or sales
- Your skills and goals will determine whether you focus on user interfaces or server-side applications, with opportunities to work across the entire stack
- You will also mentor and guide teammates to help them improve and complete their tasks
- You will collaborate with the team to define requirements, find technical solutions, and develop software to address daily challenges
Tech Stack: Python, Django, Kafka, Next.js / Typescript, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS
Required qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of professional experience with Python/Django and/or React in a production environment (transitioning to Next.js/Typescript)
- Strong understanding of systems design, distributed services, etc., with a proven track record of leading successful software projects and teams
- Experience delivering product features and a deep understanding of the complete software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile principles and working in a Scrum environment to deliver software consistently
- Good English skills (B2/C1)
- Valid PL/EU work permit
- Bonus: Experience in the Supply Chain and/or Transportation industry
