Job Description
Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team. The role will focus on supporting IT initiatives within finance and accounting processes, with strong expertise in SQL, data management, and financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of finance and accounting processes to support IT projects.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
- Lead functional testing and manage requirements for core financial data (ledger, P&L, balance sheet).
- Work with accounting systems and logic for data sourcing and transformation.
- Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements and manage system changes.
- Experience with asset classes like equities, fixed income, loans, and wealth management products is a plus.
Required qualifications
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in IT business analysis within finance, accounting, and capital markets.
- Advanced SQL writing and data modeling skills.
- Experience in functional testing and requirements management for financial data.
- Ability to work with complex accounting systems and SQL logic.
- Experience with bank sub-ledger and financial reporting systems.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with SAP Fioneer or SAP FSDM.
