Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Reports to Material and Logistic Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for the team organization, the management and control of the warehouse, and the inventory accuracy.
The Warehouse Manager has 3 main missions:
- Serve all internal and external customers (Spare Parts department, sister companies...)
- Ensure accuracy of the transactions in the ERP for any parts (Inbound, outbound, adjustments, transfers...) and the accuracy of the inventory,
- Drive the team with clear goals for safety, cleanliness and efficiencies through reliable processes.
Responsibilities
(Other duties may be assigned as needed)
Ensures respect of the safety rules for all warehouse operations
Respect the TLD Group standards for cleanliness for all warehouse areas, including the yard.
Manages the warehouse team in respect to safety protocols and regulations
Manages inbound team from receiving to put away
Manages outbound team for production and customer delivery on time and accurately,
Ensure cycle counts are performed as per group rules
Make sure all transactions of parts from and to warehouse are performed accurately by the team members and other departments (if any) in ERP
Organise Returns to Stock (RTS) of the unused material
Analyse all Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) related to Warehouse and optimize / improve process as needed
Release reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse
Defines and optimizes logistics and warehousing processes and procedures, continuous improvement
Put in place efficient processes to improve continuously the team performances and department KPI's
Ensures appropriate use of Warehouse Management System by warehouse team
Perform the reviews of the employees as per TLD calendar
Supports and trains his/her team to promote personnel development
Cross-train the team members to keep back up capacity
Participates in the selection of manpower for the department, evaluates their efficiency and suggests proper training and professional development
Performs other tasks as assigned by management
Required qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
At least 2 years' experience of warehouse management
Good knowledge of working with ERP systems
Valid driver's license
Knowledge and experience operating articulated FLT
Pride in work performance
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent.
