Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer and play a key role in developing innovative software for agricultural equipment. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, timely software solutions for the Self Propelled Forage Harvester, a flagship product in the H&F portfolio under the New Holland brand. Work within an agile, collaborative environment to deliver software that drives customer success. Your Key Responsibilities: - Deploy control system software requirements, specifications, and structure for applications. - Maintain and manage application source code, ensuring proper archiving and version control. - Implement software architecture and strategies for closed-loop control algorithms and related control logic. - Conduct unit testing and system integration using both simulation tools and real-world on-board executions. - Analyze field data to support product development and troubleshoot issues (e.g., CAN traces). - Produce comprehensive documentation to support design, implementation, and testing activities.

Required qualifications

Your Key Competences and Qualifications: - Strong experience in C programming for multi-feature, multi-controller CAN interfacing architecture. - Familiarity with code debuggers, code analysis tools, and memory management techniques. - Experience with SAE J1939, CAN, UDS, and ISOBUS software protocols is a plus. - Knowledge of Electro-Hydraulic or vehicle control systems for on/off-highway vehicles is an advantage. - Experience with vehicle networking protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN). - Familiarity with industry coding standards (e.g., MISRA-C) and version control practices. - Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Other Information: - A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline. - A minimum of 3 years of embedded software development experience, using C/C++ programming languages and tools.
