What You'll Do 🖥️
As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
SDN Management & Configuration: Oversee and configure software-defined networks (SDN) using VMware NSX and Cisco ACI in our data centers.
Firewall Administration: Manage and configure NSX-T firewalls to ensure network security and efficiency.
Automation with APIs: Perform bulk SDN configurations using native API interfaces to automate processes.
Script Development & Maintenance: Create, analyze, and maintain automation scripts for SDN networks, integrating with systems like firewalls, load balancers, Cisco ISE, IPAM, CMDB, and ServiceNow.
Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex operational issues in data center and network infrastructure.
Documentation: Develop and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation to ensure efficient network management.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and expert consultations to less experienced colleagues, helping them work with assigned technologies.
Project Collaboration: Work on projects and assist in implementing new services and technologies in network infrastructure.
Standards Development: Contribute to the creation of standards in your area of expertise, with a strong focus on security.
Vulnerability Management: Actively participate in the Vulnerability Management process by issuing recommendations on vulnerabilities.
Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with other IT departments to ensure smooth project execution and service delivery.
Required qualifications
