Job Description
We are looking for an experienced System Engineer who will serve as the primary point of contact for all safety and control functions related to hybrid burner solutions, with a particular emphasis on electric-gas hybrid burners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyse customer requirements for hybrid heating control systems and support the development of efficient, application-specific control solutions.
• Perform detailed electrical engineering for hybrid burner systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Review customer specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct safety analyses and ensure system designs align with relevant directives and standards (Machinery Directive, EN 746-2, NFPA 86, EN60204, ISO13577, ATEX, EMC, LVD, etc.).
• Design electrical control panels using standardized engineering tools such as EPLAN.
• Develop and program PLC software on customer-specified automation platforms.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and external suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during production.
• Provide support for factory acceptance tests (FAT) and on-site commissioning.
• Lead the design and integration of advanced hybrid heating system components, including hardware, software, and networking.
• Ensure system reliability, efficiency, and overall performance.
• Identify technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
Required qualifications
• MSc. Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and project execution, f.e. PLC systems, controls engineering and/or power electronics
• Experience in guiding complex system integration projects
• Excellent communication and people-oriented skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
