Job Description
A leading company in the automotive industry, specializing in the development, production, and innovation of cutting-edge mobility solutions, is looking for an experienced HIL Engineer to join its dynamic, multicultural team. With a strong commitment to sustainability, quality, and advanced technology, this company drives the future of transportation through continuous research and development. Its European operations play a crucial role in engineering, testing, and validating next-generation automotive systems, ensuring excellence in performance, safety, and connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop real-time simulation models using Matlab/Simulink for testing integrated controllers via the dSpace HIL bench.
- Troubleshoot existing dSpace HIL systems and assist in resolving issues, as well as contributing to the future development of the test bench.
- Create test specifications based on requirements and develop automation scripts to ensure comprehensive software test coverage.
- Analyze issues identified during testing and collaborate with Functional Design Engineers to determine effective solutions.
- Provide support for HIL testing on the E/E vehicle integration test benches.
Required qualifications
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a HIL Engineer in the automotive industry.
Strong experience in Interface Model Development for HIL systems with dSPACE simulators.
Proficient in a broad set of MathWorks products (Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, EmbeddedCoder).
Experience in test design, test automation, debugging, and reporting test cases.
Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Bash, PERL, Python, Java.
Expertise in dSPACE Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems, including Control Desk and RTICAN messages.
