Job Description
We are looking a civil work supervisor to support our customer for a new project located in Maasvlakte, Netherlands
Task and responsabilities:
From a background of civil engineering, you ideally benefit from successful experience of at least 10 years as a Civil work supervisor. An experience of design will be beneficial as well. Knowledge of the Dutch regulation in terms of civil work is required.
On daily basis, the supervisor will reports directly to the site manager. The main duties are the following:
- approve the job safety analysis and the method of statement related to the civil and structural activities
- In charge of supervising all the piling, civil, undergrounds, roads & paving and building erection works in accordance with site Inspection & test plan.
- Ensures the compliance of the works performed with the project drawings.
- Ensures the compliance of the works performed with the Air Liquide E&C quality standards (E&C Global standard)
- Knows and uses project drawings and Air Liquide specifications in order to perform the Scope of Work
- Shall anticipate the works coming (based on the approved S/C schedule and with the construction manager) studying the project drawings in advance, clarifying with the project engineer the potential questions, verifying that the S/C will be ready to perform its works (critical material available, specialized companies or resources mobilized, Methods of statements issued and approved...)
- Shall ensure that free issue items required for its own Scope of Work are delivered in time and make coordination with the Material manager
- Shall ensure that AS BUILT drawings are properly issued and updated by the S/C on a weekly basis
- Shall be a safety actor by reporting safety hazardous situation or non conformities
- Shall stop the works when safety or quality issues are found until corrective action is implemented
- Performs all the inspections on site as per ITP (with the support of site QA/QC team when required)
- Updates the own set of project documents (drawings…) with the last revisions issued (paper copies)
- Is the leader of the S/C weekly meeting and issues the Minutes of Meeting
- Follows up the detail schedule
- Opens NCR related to the Scope of Work, propose solution and follows them until they are closed informing the QA/QC manager
- Performs weekly reviews
- Reviews, comments and supports the QA/QC manager in order to approve the ITP
- Updates and signs the ITP with the inspection performed
- Validates on a weekly basis the progress on the Scope of Work through feedbacks to the site manager
- Supports the site manager in order to track the installed quantity on all the Scope of Work
- Track the quantities in order to ensure the remeasurement of the scope of work
- Issue to the site manager & project engineer a daily report of activities, problems encountered and actions to be taken
Required qualifications
10 ans d'expérience minimum, conducteur de travaux en GC ou poste similaire
Très accès sur la politique sécurité et la qualité
Certification N1,N2 ou équivalent (VCA)
Niveau de langue: Anglais et Néerlandais Courant
